The calculator converts both dates to a day count and subtracts them, so the result is never thrown off by daylight-saving changes or your time zone. Alongside the total it shows the same period split into full weeks and remaining days, the number of weekdays (Monday–Friday) and weekend days inside the period, and the day of the week each date falls on.
Pick the start date and the end date in the calculator above. It subtracts one date from the other and shows the total days, the same span in weeks and days, and how many of those days are Monday–Friday business days.
By default it shows the plain difference (1 January to 31 January = 30 days). Tick "Include the end date" to add one extra day for an inclusive count, such as hotel nights or rentals.

The first date is pre-filled with today — just pick your future date. For a live ticking countdown, use the Days Until calculator.
